James qualified in 1976 with a Gold Medal in the Solicitors Apprentice Examination. His wide experience in Domestic and Commercial Conveyancing, Litigation and Executorship of Estates was enhanced by his Presidency of the Northern Ireland Law Society in 2006/2007.
He was the principal Lawyer advising Fermanagh County Council for over thirty years and has considerable knowledge of Professional Indemnity Insurance.
Outside the office he has been extensively involved in Northern Ireland Politics, local Rugby Football and Motor Boating on Lough Erne.
